RM 13.1 million contract with IBM

Deals call for providing the Technical Services Provider (TSP) for Integrated Services Operations.

Solsis (M) Sdn Bhd won a Technical Services Provider for Integrated Technology Services Operations contract worth RM 13.1 million. Solsis will provide IT support and maintenance of selected hardware and software such as xSeries, pSeries and Tivoli.

In brief, Solsis will assist in providing the 'warm bodies' with the right expertise for IBM.

The-three-year outsourcing deal (which begins on the 1st of July 2006) will include of placing several hardware technicians in Klang Valley and non Klang Valley area and about 5 software technicians in Kuala Lumpur.

RM 2.0 million contract with Titan Group

Solsis (M) Sdn Bhd won a three-year IT Outsourcing contract with TITAN group which is worth RM 2 million. Solsis will provide IT support services which include Onsite Engineer & Helpdesk Support, Management of Network Equipment Nationwide, Maintenance of Hardware Equipment and Management of Network Equipment Nationwide.

Solsis Senior Business Manager, Tan Kok Ling said that Solsis will be providing man power to two locations such as Pasir Gudang and Anjung Langsat.

"We will be placing a Senior Project Manager to monitor the project and a total of six engineers to be located onsite at Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat to ensure smooth services".

He added that all calls will be diverted to Help Desk in Solsis 24x7 Call Centre in Petaling Jaya.

RM 4.8 million contract with MATRADE

Solsis has won a RM 4.8 million contract for relocating the ICT infrastructure in Menara Matrade, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

In the contract, Solsis will be providing services on Cabling System and Network equipment for Matrade Private and Public Network, Network equipment , Network Management System and Network Security Equipment for Matrade Private Network. Also, as stated in the contract, Solsis will be supplying equipments for the server room, PC, Notebooks and Network Printer.

RM 15.2 million contract with JIM

Deals call for maintenance of Immigration Department of Malaysia branches nationwide/worldwide.

Solsis (M) Sdn Bhd has won a RM 15.2 million contract to maintain all the branches nationwide and 16 ATASE offices around the world servicing the IT equipments ranging from HP, IBM, SUN servers, and multi brand of PCs, printers, QMS, UPS and scanners.

Immigration Department of Malaysia has been one of Solsis key customers for the past ten years.

On the contract, Solsis will staff several resident engineers for branches in Putrajaya, Tambak Johor, 2nd Link, KLIA, Pusat Bandar Damansara and Seberang Jaya.
