Sabit Sdn Bhd disposed of 7.25 million shares in Dataprep Holdings Bhd, which is undertaking a corporate exercise to regularise its financial condition. A filing to Bursa Malaysia showed that it disposed of the 9.53% stake in a married deal on Sept 6. Dataprep chairman Mirzan Mahathir is deemed interest in the transaction via Sabit. The share price closed at 36 sen on Sept 6. Dataprep reported a net profit of RM297,000 on the back of RM17.5 million in revenue for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006. The company had, on July 21, 2006, submitted to the Securities Commission, the proposed corporate restructuring scheme to regularise its financial position. It also expects to be removed from the PN 17 category within the financial year in view of its proposed corporate restructuring scheme. |
