Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) yesterday launched its web portal in a collaboration with Dataprep Holdings Bhd subsidiary Instant Office Sdn Bhd. "I think MASB is the first accounting standards board to adopt the use of ICT (information, communications technology)," said MASB executive director Dr Nordin Mohd Zain. Among others, the portal is targeted to provide efficient and enhanced services to all MASB members. Nordin said maintenance cost was less than RM30,000 per annum. (The Edge) |
