Tan Sri Datuk Adzmi had a long and illustrious career having been the longest serving Managing Director of Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) from November 1992 to May 2005. During this period, he was conferred Malaysia CEO of the Year by AMEX and Business Times and Most PR Savvy CEO by IPRM in 2003. Tan Sri Datuk Azmi served PROTON in 1985 to 1992 and his last position in PROTON was Director/Corporate General Manager, Administration and Finance Division Prior to his appointment in PROTON, Tan Sri Datuk Adzmi served the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service in various capacities from 1967 to 1982 in the following areas : Central Procurement and Contract Management in Ministry of Finance; Investment Promotion in Pahang Tenggara Development Authority, Public Enterprise Management in Implementation Coordination Unit (Prime Minister's Department), Regional Planning in Klang Valley Planning Secretariat (Prime Minister's Department). Tan Sri Datuk Azmi is also actively involved as Chairman of Malaysia Egypt Business Council and as an Advisor to the Malaysian Franchise Association. The Board of Directors also hereby announce the resignation of Encik Mirzan bin Mahathir as Chairman and Independent Non-Executive director of Dataprep Holdings Bhd with effect from December 21, 2006. |
Tan Sri Datuk Adzmi bin Abdul Wahab, 64 was appointed Chairman and director of Dataprep Holdings Bhd on December 21, 2006. Tan Sri Datuk Azmi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from University Malaya, Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration, University of Southern California.
