The launching of MASB Portal and signing of service agreement with Instant OfficeFebruary 26, 2004
INSTANT Office Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dataprep Holdings Bhd, plans to introduce its CFO E-Services Network System (CEN) to large and small organisations in Malaysia to boost its revenue. Its general manager Eric Sito said CEN was a central software system the company developed to enable members within an organisation to interact and disseminate information quickly through various channels via an application service provider. The company also provides other services such as consulting, integration, outsourcing, software services and information technology management services. "The potential growth of CEN is huge because of its cost savings potential for commercial organizations." Sito told reporters after the launch of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) CEN portal and signing of the service agreement between MASB and Instant Office in Petaling Jaya yesterday. Sito said large corporations could expect cost savings ranging from 50% to 70% of their operational expenses if they adopt CEN. MASB executive director Dr Nodin Mohd Zain said CEN was an extremely cost effective, interactive and fluid application. "At the core of its services is the notification feature which enables quick broadcast to all of our 200 working groups and over 800 individuals," he said. |
