Mr Poh Eng Soon

Poh Eng Soon, a Malaysian aged 49, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Management from University Sains Malaysia.

Poh has more than 21 years of experience in IT and he specializes in services delivery, systems integration, outsourced solutions sales and managed services to SMEs and large corporations across multi industries including FSI, Healthcare, Education, Transport and Logistics, Telco, Manufacturing and Government sectors

Poh has been managing P&L and heading in-country operations for the last 10 years. His career experience includes MNCs as well as locally incorporated companies. He has an excellent performance track record and has received numerous awards and recognition for those achievements. Among those MNCs are the following:

NCSI Malaysia - He was Country Director for 5 years and was responsible for the business growth, profitability and penetration into new accounts. He also set up an outsourced call centre for an offshore client and secured a cabling product distributorship and built reseller channels.

DataOne Asia - Regional Sales and Marketing Director cum Managing Director Malaysia for 6 years, was one of the pioneers that built the company from scratch into a regional player in the datacentre space and managed services.

Oracle Malaysia - Sales Director for 2 years, responsible for all sales operations and distribution channels, revenue growth and geographical expansion.

IBM Malaysia - Head of Industry Solutions, started career with IBM and in the 9 years has held various positions in account management, channels operations, product specialization and general management.

He is currently the Head of Technology and Solutions Integration and is responsible for a team of solution architects that designs and builds solutions to meet customer requirements.
